StowAway Carrier Lid Rack

Customers sometimes ask us what they can transport on the StowAway Lid Rack. Our response is that the Lid Rack is best for items that are light in weight but too large to fit into the box or inside your vehicle.

A customer of ours in California found just the right application for the lid rack. He needs some extra height to get to his kayaks on top of his camper and a ladder is required. But where should the ladder go when he's ready to hit the road again - the StowAway Lid Rack has proven to be just the thing. Contact us if you are interested in a StowAway Cargo Carrier with a Lid Rack. But remember to use it only for lightweight items.

Hood to Coast Relay 2009

We sponsored a group of runners in the 2009 Hood to Coast Relay again this year - the infamous Helen's Angels. The Hood to Coast is an annual team running relay and attracts team members from all over the USA.

Helen's team needed some extra room in their van and opted for a StowAway Max Carrier , both for its overall capacity and its swingaway frame. Needless to say they opted to personalize it with their own accessory pack.

The team loved having the extra room for the duration of the race and even found the StowAway handy as a coffee holder.

StowAway Max Helps Civil Support Team

Members of the one of our Civil Support Teams are using a StowAway Max Carrier to help transport their gear. Installed on their unit's command vehicle the StowAway is used to transport the team's "go bags" while on missions.

The team selected the StowAway Max on the swingaway frame so that they would have clear access to the rear of the vehicle and their gear.
